Scotch Tournament with a GM

A Scotch-themed tournament for ChessMood students. GM Gabuzyan will be participating.

At ChessMood, we follow the Study-Practice-Fix improvement method.

You study an opening. In this event, you practice it.

This is a “Scotch” tournament.

You’ll start the game from the position after 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 exd4 4.Nxd4, and play against the other participants, including GM Gabuzyan and fellow ChessMood students.

Some instructive games from here will be covered in one of our future events.

The games will be hosted on Lichess.org and in order to take part, you'll need to do the following:

Create a nickname on Lichess which ends with _ChessMood. For example - John_ChessMood or Amelie_ChessMood. This is so that when you challenge us, we recognize that you’re a ChessMood member.
