Webinar: How to counter rubbish over-aggression in the opening?

GM Gabuzyan shares the strategies of countering opponents who play overaggressive-but-rubbish moves in the opening.

Date: Mar 05 - 10:00 UTC (America-New York)

GM Gabuzyan Hovhannes

In your chess career, you’ll face opponents who will do their best to scare you in the opening and force a mistake. They’ll play dubious gambits, take too many risks, make unnecessary sacrifices and even throw in an evil smile.

In fact, in one of our previous simuls, that’s exactly what coach GM Gabuzyan did to test our students :)

So how do you react against such opponents and punish them? What mindset should you adopt?

Taking the games from the previous simul as an example, GM Gabuzyan will share the practical tips and strategies to play against such opponents.

It’ll be an interactive session where you can ask your questions and get them cleared.

The webinar will be privately hosted on Youtube.

You can join the event at the scheduled time from this page. We’ll also notify you via email and share the joining link there just before the event starts.

Note: This is a closed event only for Pro members.
