This was eye opening. Amazing how deep GM’s can calculate a position along with various scenarios but at the same time go through the same emotions we all experience. Looking forward to starting my journey with ChessMood!

I had never seen a GM analyzing it's own games and it was really interesting to see your thought process, how you felt during each game and each movement, how your opponent reacted to somewhat crazy moves, etc. They were really beautiful games, very entertaining and instructive videos. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! This is amazing! Plus I can't believe I think about 34% like my favorite GM Coach. You got tears from me in game 9 I wish you had put 20 instead of 10
admin image
GM_Avetik Grigoryan
Heeeey! Sorry about that :) 34%! :) Well, considering those are some of my best games, and I don't play so well always, 34 is a number! :) Thanks for kind words, my friend!

these are games that i would dream of playing these were total dream position this course was a diamond to me as i knew that even grand master feel pressure before that i just see that they just calculate all the moves and keep everything in check but i got to knew that everyone feel pressure but there is only a matter of fact that how someone respond to it. hopefully i had also try this type of sacrificing in my game but i had less success rate as more than half are blunder but after seeing that i started making my first time to make brilliant moves more often and playing aggressive chess. THANKS for sharing your thoughts on the game with us sir this a high amount of quality material and learning which i get from it

A wealth of awesome ideas to put into practice for your own games and great life experiences as well, especially not to give up during low periods of your life and keep moving forward. Personally learned a lot from Games 9, 10 and 1 [put some strategic ideas to good use in a recent tournament game of mine and defeated a strong opponent in the process]. Must watch instruction for improvement and excellent companion piece instruction to the classical games and middle game courses. [especially for intermediate and advanced players]

This course gave me a better understanding of different positions and interesting ideas. It was also great to hear how a GM would feel in those difficult and tense tournament situations and other interesting things that occurred in your chess journey. Avetik, thank you for making this unlocked course I hope to see more similar content and wish you all the best in your future chess career.

Chess has never brought me so much fun and incredibly high-quality humor. Especially as I followed the analysis of the party which, during this course, was marked as "Dedicated to her". And that's why I think that, in a special way, I am your great debtor, you unusual and wonderful man. Thank you, Avetik!

Thank you for sharing Game 9, GM Avetik. I watched games 1 to 8, All are wonderful games but the story behind this game provoked me to add a comment. This game was the turning point for you. I agree with you on both points. I believe that removing your bad relations is the right thing to do in a personal plan. True friends cannot be jealous. Your success can be motivating to friends to achieve more, to push themselves harder but not to be jealous. Jealous means that they perceive themselves as less than you or at least they perceive themselves as less capable than you. In both cases - you don't want such people near you labeled as "friends" Competitive chess profit distribution is strongly skewed towards the strongest players in the field. Making a living as a competitive chess player seems to be a lot harder than making a living in other professions. I am speculating here but pushing from GM to elite GM 2700+ level seems so steep that it would probably take double the effort to become a GM in the first place. That energy has a much better return on investment (ROI) if put in other activities. Chess is no exception from the other sports where retired professional competitors become trainers, start consultancy businesses, or become motivational speakers. Even Ding, being an elite 2700+ player, said that he was considering quitting competitive chess if he did not qualify for the world title. Having said that, money, ROI, and getting to the "next level" are not the most important things in life. Helping people to become better can be much more satisfying and fulfilling. I respect your decision to quit competitive chess. It seems you weighed your options and made the right decision. I've watched a few courses online and I believe you have what it takes to be a good trainer. Thank you for sharing your story and good luck!
