How do good players remember their opening repertoire?

Hi Chessmood friends,

Knowing ideas behind chess opening is important, and I can learn them from Chessmood videos.

But It's hard for me to remember what I have learned after a few days.

Any advice for firmly fixing chess openings to memory? Softwares etc?

Try to not skip the streams, my friend, and solve the quizzes.
The 1st one is ready. https://chessmood.com/quiz/attack-with-scotch-game

Thank you for your suggestions.
I was wondering if putting my own repertoire in Fritz would help.
I've just bought Fritz17 software, because I've heard that serious players use it to improve their chess, and practicing/improving their opening repertoire. I do not know if the same is beneficial for me or not.

I would suggest you chessbase 15 for the openings and which ever openings you are going to see  create a database on it first write tree [ A  brief note on the opening ] and then download the pgn file given after the video then when you finish the whole video try to fill the pgn file and then recheck it again by seeing one video at a time and filling it people like me forgot the move orders a lot due to less memory after a day or so If you are also in my category then you should revise the opening daily atleast for 10-15 days and then i would suggest you to again download the incomplete pgn and try it again and then check with the original pgn if you did it correct fantastic ! if not then try it again for a few more days after that now you have prepare the opening now it is time to update more things in it check the streams and try to add in it as well as see top player games especially the latest games which will benefit a lot and try the opening in training games with decent players with a long time control and then analyze it and find your mistakes and then correct it this way you will be good in that this is a tough thing to do but it is very useful .

Sorry for my bad english hope you got your answer !
