Very instructive today! (I didn't solved it by the way...)
Thought I had to go 4 mate cause pieces were too far...but...
That was another tricky one... after the Q sacrifice I thought about draw by repetition and went 4 it but... I was wrong!!
Ohhhhhh... yesterday one...26 January was really tricky! Still not have learned to calculate correctly
Today's puzzle, 2 March
I was wrong at first going R..., then right with R... but why after Bc2+ is Kf6 wrong? After d2 Rd5 d1=Q Re5+ QxR KxQ isn't it draw? What am I missing?
I right click on the image and choose 'save image as' [The Puzzles are in .png format]. You can save the file to your desktop and then upload to your forum post from there. Same process applies if the picture file is in .jpeg format.
Looking forward to your first .jpeg or .png puzzle post. :)
Today again very tricky...I didn't thought about promoting to R.
By the way last move seemed the same Ra7+ or Rf5+... is it really the same? Seems draw anyway... what am I missing?
Yeah I'm not sure. Rf5+ does look drawn, doesn't it?
*Edit* but maybe Kg6 then? Mate seems looming
IoI last two days'puzzles 30 April 1st may were very nice! No way to think about that!
But very instructive! I will in future!
Actually there's no need to move the King.
It's all about Rooks
Today's puzzle can be solved relatively easily using a powerful technique called 'Reciprocal Thinking'. If this puzzle is giving you problems look up Reciprocal Thinking in Chess and then try to solve the puzzle again. Many strong Chess Players use this technique regularly and probably without consciously realising it. Let me know if it works for you.
Very difficult one
Again... tricky one... when will I learn?
Really nice one! Of course not solved at 1st attempt (think was 5th)
Easy one 1st & 2nd of july, solved fastly
Probably easy 3rd of July if you see mate pattern... not solved IoI
Very nice and instructive one... of course didn't solve it
